MORNING STAR CHAPEL is an exciting ministry in the DeLand area.
Our purpose is simple. We are a local church under the authority
of the Lord Jesus Christ. Morning Star Chapel recognizes the
importance of a Spirit-filled life and we know teaching the Word of God
is necessary for that spiritual life.

Our emphasis is not on emotion, yet we are emotional.
Our emphasis is on the teaching of Truth by the Word of God,
yet we reject dead orthodoxy and stale traditions.

We are Non-Denominational and only seek to glorify the Lord in
all that we do. Our manner of worship is consistent with
Pentecostal energy, and our praise brings the Spirit of God to
comfort and encourage us.

We welcome you today to our fellowship, and would trust God
to minister Himself, in the power of His love.

"And walking in the fear of the Lord and
in the comfort of the Holy Spirit
they were multiplied" Acts 9:31b

When I think about all of the turmoil that is found in our society,
I am forever turning to the Word of God. It is an unchangeable
truth found in our ever changing world.

At MORNING STAR CHAPEL our practice of ministry takes a
conservative charismatic approach. Our music with an emphasis
on Worship and Praise is non-threatening and comforting to the soul.
As you worship with us, you will notice that the Word of God is never
compromised for the sake of tradition. Our desire is to walk behind the
Biblical life under the Power and leading of the Holy Spirit.

Our purpose at MORNING STAR CHAPEL is two fold. First, we want
you to have the assurance of Eternal Life through the knowledge
of our Lord Jesus Christ. Second, we want to promote all areas of
teaching the Word for the exercising of and to develop your
Spiritual gifts for ministry within the Church.

As you go from our Chapel, I trust the Lord to continue to bless.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons,
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and is
inerrant in the original manuscripts.
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ our Lord, His virgin birth,
His impeccable life, Him crucified for our sin, His blood shed for
forgiveness of sin, His death on the cross, burial and bodily
resurrection, ascension and glorious return in His name.
WE BELIEVE man is separated from God by sin and is under
condemnation. That Jesus Christ came to save people who are
sinners calling them to salvation. That Godly sorrow produces repentance from sin and salvation is forever.
WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin.
He empowers the believer for service. His indwelling the believer
produces fruit, and exercising of Spiritual gifts for the edification
of the saints.
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of the saints called the church.
We await the return of the Lord Jesus, to gather (rapture) His
saints to glory! This event will precede the terrible Day of the Lord,
when the wrath of God shall be poured out on all of mankind
because of sin.
