Sales and Installation of trailer hitches, fifth wheels, goose necks, tow bars and base plates, vehicle electric breaks, electrical wiring (towing), as well as trailer repairs such as wheel repacking, new bearings, axle replacement, and trailer electric break system repair and replacement. Services include cars, trucks, RV’s, boat trailers, horse trailers, camping trailers, and utility trailers.

After owning Altamonte Hitch and Trailer of Altamonte Springs, Florida, owner/operator Jim Read opened Hitch’N’ Post of DeLand, Inc. in May, 1990. He became a major dealer for Reese Products and also a dealer for Draw-Tite Hitches serving the new and used car/truck markets. We have been a truck rental facility since late 1990, currently we service our customers with U-haul Trucks.

We apply the old-fashion "Mom and Pop" approach working with each and every customer individually to meet their needs.
